摘要
The United States-Japan cooperative earthquake engineering research program, which studied wind and seismic effects on composite and hybrid structures, was discussed. The program concentrated on the importance of developing seismic design guidelines and code provisions for typical composite and hybrid structures. The research program offered useful information on structural designing. The research findings had resulted in design guidelines and practical implementation of seismic design practice.
