摘要：

This paper will first come back on a more accurate definition of the flexibility concept and then develop the concept of proactivity applied to supervisory control system. It will describe the principle of proactive supervision which allows an intelligent exploitation of flexibility. This control structure is carried out by adding an upper level to the reactive level which provides the functionality usually affected to a supervisory control system.
