Preliminary study on algae-induced photo-degradation of two kinds of dye solution

摘要
Induced by Anabaena and Chlorella, the photo-degradation of two dyes with different structure was studied by spectrophotometry, and the factors affecting degradation efficiency were investigated in this paper. Results revealed that algae had played an important role in the degradation of two kinds of dye solutions. These results provide a new methodology and guideline for the purification of dye-polluted wastewater by using reproducible biological resources in the waters.
