摘要
Political violence based on gender has increased exponentially because of the various measures brought by the Mexican State and the jurisdictional bodies for women to participate more actively in the democratic life of the country, since only in the elector& process in 2018, more than 100 women were victims of this phenomenon, concluding in 16 deaths, which undoubtedly affected the equality and non-discrimination of womenthe exercise of their political -electoral rights. For this reason, the classification of this phenomenon in the General Law on Electoral Crimes has been ofgreat importance, to seek greater protection and eradication o 'such a situation for what will be the largest elections in modern Mexico in 2021.
