An M/G/1 bulk service queue under the policy (a,c,d)

This paper deals with a M/G/1 bulk service queue model under the policy (a,c,d), The server becomes busy if the queue size is at least c and the server serves a maximum of d units in. a batch with a general service time distributions G(.) and the server continue to serve even when the queue size is less than c, but not less' than a secondary limit a, after a service completion epoch. The server becomes idle if the queue size is less than a, after a service completion epoch. The model is analyzed and expression for the stationary probabilities are obtained. A numerical illustration is also given.
