摘要
In this paper, the characterization of multi-stage Ku-band waveguide bandpass filter (BPF) is presented. The proposed filter which is intended to operate at the TE10 delta mode is designed using a WR90 type of rectangular waveguide configured. Some dielectric frequency selective structures developed using complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) are loaded into the waveguide and arranged in multi-stage configuration. Each dielectric frequency selective structure is composed of 2 layers of 1.6mm thick Arlon DiClad 527 dielectric substrate flank a structure of CSRR. Some parametric studies upon physical parameters of CSRR are performed through simulation to obtain the desired response of filter. The performance characteristic shows that the multi-stage Ku-band waveguide BPF has the passband area in the frequency range of 13 GHz to 16 GHz. The proposed waveguide BPF is then realized and its properties are characterized through experimental measurement.
