摘要：
A new genus and species of stenopodideans, Jurastenopus n. gen., with its type species Jurastenopus frattigianii n. gen., n. sp., is described from the Upper Jurassic Solnhofen-type fossil-lagerstatte of Zandt (Painten Formation, Zandt Member; Lower Tithonian, Hybonotum Zone). The new taxon is the first record of a stenopodidean in the Jurassic. The sole specimen shares characters of the extant stenopodidean families Stenopodidae and Spongicolidae. As deduced from palaeoenvi-ronmental observations, a symbiontic lifestyle either with hexactinellid sponges or with coral fishes as in many extant species is also possible for the fossil representative.
