摘要
The interaction between two plasmas induced by cross-beam pulsed laser ablation onto two perpendicular graphite targets was analyzed by time resolved optical emission spectroscopy. Ablation was performed by excimer (248 nm) and Nd: YAG (1064 nm) synchronized lasers, delayed up to 40 mu s. The kinetic energy of the second pulse species can be controlled by changing the pulse delay between lasers or increasing the energy of the first pulse. Furthermore an increase of emitting C III and a decrease of neutrals was observed. This is due to plasma interaction causing excitation processes over the second plume.
