Optomechanical second-order sideband effects in a Laguerre-Gaussian rotational-cavity system

摘要
We theoretically investigate the second-order sideband generation in an optomechanical system, comprised of two spiral phase elements, with a focus on the influence of pumping power and detunings on second-order upper sideband effects. By analyzing the solutions of the secondorder sideband, based on a perturbation method, the efficiency of the second-order sideband generation in both resonance and near resonance conditions is discussed. It is found that the second-order sideband can be significantly modified, by tuning the pumping power and the pump-cavity detuning. Interestingly, the efficiency of the second-order sideband generation around the resonance frequency can be enhanced, under the near resonance regime.
