摘要
Every organization goes through periods of change. Sometimes, change is brought about because of forces outside the organization. At other times, managers within the company want to initiate major change or spur innovation, but they may not know how. To remain successful, organizations must embrace many types of change. Organizations that invest most of their time and resources in maintaining the status quo are unlikely to prosper in today's uncertain environment.(1) Depending on an organization's strategic needs and the demands of the external environment, managers may encourage innovation in one or more parts of the organization. They use a number of techniques to successfully implement change when and where it is needed.
