摘要
With the advancement of Chinese ecological civilisation construction, residents awareness of environmental protection and environmental protection participation has been gradually increased. This study attempts to analyse the impact of environmental protection expends on environmental protection participation behaviour, as well as the moderating effects of environmental protection efficacy and environmental damage perception. Through regression analysis and moderating effect analysis of the questionnaire data, it is found that the age and education level of residents and environmental protection efficacy have a significant impact on environmental participation behaviour. Therefore, the theoretical hypothesis part of this study was tested. In order to promote residents active participation in environmental protection behaviours, it is necessary to improve the education level of residents and their willingness to devote into the environmental protection, enhance their perception of environmental damage, and improve residents assessment of their participation behaviour.
