Slopes Stabilization Using Mixture of Soil and Dimension Stone Waste Chemically Stabilized with Portland Cement

摘要
The aim of this research is to reutilize waste originated from the dimension stones processing in soil-cement mixtures for earthworks. The soil where the samples were collected from was being used as material for road bases and subbases, and the stone waste samples from stone processing companies. At the specimen molding, part of the soil was substituted for 20% of waste and 10% of Portland cement. Based on the direct shear tests results, some reshaping of slopes were simulated, varying their heights and inclinations. The simulations resulted in a relevant database, proving the possibility of using the waste of dimension stones processing in soil cement mixtures for smooth slopes.
