摘要
Optimal tuning plays an important role in operations or tuning in the complex process such as the main steam temperature Of the thermal power plant. However, many tuning technologies for strictly maintaining the steam temperature are difficult to tune with conventional optimization methods since the process has the time delay and the change of the dynamic characteristics in the reheater. Up to the present time, since the gain of the PID controller has to be manually tuned by trial and error, it is very difficult to achieve an optimal PID gain with no experience, This paper addresses comparison of tuning method of the PID Controller using immune based tuning technique and genetic algorithm based tuning technique on steam temperature process with long dead time.
