摘要
The problem of reactive power deficiency in polish power systems and electrical stress during switching of shunt capacitor banks have been described. Methods of reduction these stresses and principals of controlled switching are gave. The results of switching tests and conclusion concerned the big shunt capacitor banks connected directly to HV system are presented. (Application of modern switching methods in reactive power compensation systems).
