摘要
Micropropagation has the potential to quickly introduce elite genotypes of Eucalyptus. Micropropagation of Eucalyptus teriticornis through adventitious shoots or axillary bud proliferation from nodes of adult trees (15-20 years old) and coppice regrowth (8-10 weeks) was achieved on MS medium with BA, Kin, calcium pantothenate and biotin. Proliferation of shoots continued on the same medium with reduced levels of growth regulators and vitamins. In general nodal explants from coppice shoots responded better in comparison to explants from fresh shoots of mature trees with respect to culture establishment, in vitro rooting of shoots and the establishment of plantlets in polybags.
