摘要
Approaches for controlling quantity, cost, and delivery (QCD) are indispensable to construct new recycling systems. To achieve this "Recycling QCD", it is necessary to bring change to entire life cycle systems, such as innovative product design, new sales and service patterns, innovative reuse and upgrade strategies, and so on. Against this background, we have developed the new idea of "service-oriented products", which can serve as a stimulus to revise the traditional way of thinking that only products comprising new materials, components and so on are valuable, and to control delivery and quality of disposed products. We have developed concept models for consumer facsimile machines based on these design concepts. We expect that these concept models will help to make the Inverse Manufacturing concept available to the general public for use.
