摘要
Working with hydrocarbon deposits, which are hard to extract, required a methodology that had been developed to use an electric thermal device in a borehole, and the device uses a borehole electric steam generator. The field of application as such includes thermal processing of high-viscosity oil formations as well as methane hydrate deposits; restoring the hydraulic connection between the formation and the borehole; improving oil production in a formation with high-viscosity oil as well as well rate and re-operating wells that earlier were considered non-profitable, for oil, gas deposits, fresh, mineral and thermal waters. Discussed below are electrical and thermal processes in a borehole electric steam generator, with methodology presented to calculate the expected power under nominal voltage with the required ratio between the steam and water volumes in a heater resulting in better performance of the method.
