In this letter, we report a discovery of a new radio-photoluminescence (RPL) material. The RPL appeared in vacuum-sintered non-doped K2CO3 ceramics as an evolution of PL emission band peaking at 440 nm. The RPL signal was confirmed to be sensitive to X-rays and stable at room temperature. The RPL response was observed as low as 1 mGy although the sample was not optimized. We strongly believe that this material should be a promising candidate as RPL dosimeter materials. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
