摘要
Outcomes research is important because it allows one to critically evaluate their results and strive for quality improvement, share experiences with colleagues, and improve the care and results delivered to the patient. This article focuses on outcomes research in burns from a historical perspective, highlights some of the current innovations, and previews future directions for outcomes-based research in burn care.
