摘要
WMNs ( Wireless mesh networks) have evolved as a leading technology for next-generation wireless networks. The benefits of WMNs over other wireless technologies have enhanced its multi-facet growth and stimulated a variety of applications. However, there exist several issues in the WMNs, power control being one. In order to offer a detail perspective of the proficient power control in WMNs, this paper presents a thorough study of available power distribution algorithms for WMNs. It is observed that most research work has been based on infrastructure based WMN.
