On the concentration dependence of alkali metal desorption from the oxygen monolayer-covered tungsten surface

摘要
On the basis of a simple model, the alkali metal positive ions and neutrals yield, induced by electronic transitions, have been calculated. The Menzel-Gomer-Redhead model for the escape probability has been used. Concentration effects are incorporated into the quasilevel width of the desorbing particle. Theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental data. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
