摘要
Two novel artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) cells are devised and arranged into checkerboard configuration in this manuscript. The radar cross-section (RCS) reduction of the structure is over 10dB in broad working frequency band by 180 degrees +/- 30 degrees reflection phase difference between AMC cells. The chessboard configuration is loaded around the 2x2 antenna array. In the case of plane wave incident vertically, the antenna array in the working frequency ranging from 7 to 13GHz obtained considerable RCS reduction, and 27dB is the maximum of RCS reduction. Moreover, the radiation properties of the proposed array remain basically unchanged.
