Absolute K-shell ionization cross-section measurements of B produced by 0.4-2.0-MeV H+ and He+ ions and by 0.6-1.2-MeV H2+ ions

摘要
The K-shell ionization cross section of boron has been obtained for incident 0.4-2.0-MeV H+ and He+ ions and for 0.6-1.2-MeV H-2(+) ions in steps of 0.2 MeV. The cross sections were obtained from the boron KLL Anger yields of gaseous B2H6. The present K-shell ionization cross sections are compared to existing experimental cross sections as well as to theoretical predictions. [S1050-2947(99)06502-6].
