摘要
A cumulative damage model has recently proved to solve fatigue problems of steel structures under alternating plastification conditions. For that purpose, the extremely low cycle effect is in accordance with the three parts of damage phenomenon, caused by (i) tensile straining, (ii) ductility exhaustion during cyclic straining, and (iii) crack propagation. The damage owing to the exhaustion mentioned dominates the fatigue damage at the large level of the plastic deformation increase whereas the damage due to crack propagation dominates at the small level of the stated increment. Further, the use of algorithms to tackle the large plastic deformation problems of engineering structures is demonstrated. The source materials are presently to be a tool for putting together the full-probabilistic methodology to check the above characteristic of the structural systems. The probabilistic approach in terms of random material variability serves to define stable parameters for particularizing the inelastic response of steel construction.
