摘要
In this paper, a wideband resistance compression network (WRCN) based on the transmission line is proposed. It consists of three impedance transform networks formed by radial-line stub and shorted-stub. When the load resistance varies in a ratio of 100:1 (50 omega to 5000 omega), the variation ratio of input impedance can be compressed to less than 3.69:1. Then, a WRCN-based rectifier is designed and fabricated. The measured results show that the realized rectifier can operate at a frequency from 3.3 GHz to 5.2 GHz. When the input power is 10dBm, the conversion efficiency of more than 50% can be obtained. Also, for the load resistance changing in the range of 0.3-5 k omega, the conversion efficiency is over 30% and the peak value of 55.5% appears in the case that the load resistance is 2200 omega.
