Study of Taylor bubble eccentricity on the movement speed in slug biphasic flow

摘要
The rise velocity of a Taylor bubble has been correlated with its eccentricity based on Navier-Stockes equations applied between two parallel plates and continuity equation. The equation based on the mathematical model has been used to interpolate the experimental data obtained in a solid-liquid system. Another simplified equation that correlates adimensional resistance force with bubble eccentricity, has been obtained using experimental data nonlinear interpolation.
