摘要：

Gender equality is a fundamental right and a fundamental value of democratic society. Presents one of the important indicators of the degree of development of democracy and the democratic principles in the society. Aim of this paper is to evaluate the current status and development of gender equality in women's entrepreneurship in Slovakia. Post provides an overview of statistical information that characterizes the status of women in business through indicators proportion of women in business, sectorial, age and educational structure entrepreneurs.
