摘要:
Limited research has been done oil applications of rendering techniques in medical ultrasound imaging because of the difficulties in separating the reflected waves and the dissipated waves. We propose several rendering methods that are not rely on any classification into different tissue categories. Instead, features are extracted from the original data-set and projected onto the view plane. Besides this, we propose a new method to enhance the distant field. We found that some of these methods may give better structural details which is very difficult to get from ordinary ultrasonic imaging.
