摘要
By applying the saddle point technique to each transient scattered electric field element represented by integral form, we briefly derive a time-domain uniform asymptotic solution (TD-UAS) for a transient scattered electric field from a two-dimensional conducting cylinder coated with a dielectric layer (coated cylinder). We assume that the dielectric layer is thin as compared with the wavelength of a central angular frequency of an incident pulse wave. The validity of the TD-UAS is confirmed by comparing with a reference solution.
