摘要
The main aspect of this paper is to present an upgrade of the parallel predictive motion estimation (ppme) algorithms discussed in [1]. This algorithm is used to increase the frame rate of computer-generated images. The vector field output of the block-matching, used in [1] is improved by means of KALMAN filter techniques [2]. Due to the necessity of many parallel working KALMAN filters used in this application, a special tracking mode of the classical KALMAN filter input data is required.
