摘要
Electricity production by the low-temperature PEM type fuel cells coincides with heat generation, the higher the greater power load of fuel cell is. Stacks of fuel cells are closed circuit water-cooled. Waste-heat resulting from fuel cells cooling necessity is converted into electricity with the use of solid-state Peltier's modules. Both Peltier's modules and fuel cells are direct conversion units that don't have any moveable parts and co-operation between them enables increase of generated electricity efficiency. The article presents the investigative installation and results of research on thermoelectric generator composed of double-chamber heat exchanger and solid-state Peltier's modules. The idea of hybrid fuel-thermoelectric generative system has been described.
