THE EDUCATIONAL APPROACH TO THE TREATMENT OF CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE IN OLDER ADULTS

This research is based on the idea of identifying the important aspects of the educational approach in the treatment of older adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In order to deal with the subject, it is based on a biographical search with the purpose of analyzing the perspectives and approaches offered to the subject by the international scientific community. The following methods were used: inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic at the theoretical level, survey at the empirical level, and descriptive and inferential statistics. The objective is to apply a set of educational measures to increase the knowledge of older adults suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. From the results obtained in this research, it was possible to confirm the relevance of this topic and the need to continue deepening it. There was a significant difference that validates the research.
