摘要
Bang & Olufsen and DTU have been working in a joint research project with the manufacture of micro cavities in Aluminum. The overall objective was to establish a technology platform for bringing a conceptual prototype to industrial production. Electrochemical machining was one of the processes considered for industrial application. The activities comprised basic understanding of the Electrochemical machining of Aluminum including development of a test set-up, manufacturing experiments and process optimization. Theoretical and experimental investigations were carried out in order to broaden the knowledge about process capabilities for production of micro-cavities with a diameter of less than 100 mu m.
