摘要
In the agricultural sector, robotics has the potential to address the challenges faces by modern agriculture such as labor reduction because of aging, and avoid the use of chemicals that may cause of environmental pollution. Agricultural robotics covers a wide range of applications from automated data scouting at a different stage of crop growth, an intercultural operation and selective harvesting. Robot may replace job in some fields, but in agricultural robot it resolved a labor shortage and help to increase agricultural productivity. However, the diffusion of technology is necessary to change the farmer's perspective to adopt the technology. The Philippines is still far behind, in agricultural advancement due to the complexity of the system in the country. Likewise, the country can move and compete globally if the country policies and program in agriculture such as AFMA and PDP 2017-2022 will strictly be implemented and measure.
