摘要
Tissue-model phantoms have been used in biological spectroscopy to study light propagation in a turbid medium. In these tissue models, hemoglobin (Hb) has been widely used to simulate optical absorption. The purpose of this study is to explore the use of Hb in tissue phantoms with tyrosine (Tyr) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) as fluorophores, which can affect the emission process through quenching in addition to the effects of Hb absorption. It is found that Hb has the ability to quench the Tyr fluorescence through the phenomenon of collisional quenching based on the concentrations of Hb. In addition, it is also observed that the quenching of FAD fluorescence follows a static mechanism.
