摘要：
Since decades, breeding work of the Institute for Grapevine Breeding Geilweilerhof is focused on the development of new varieties which combine quality features and resistance features mainly against the mildews. At present, the most successful variety from this breeding program is the red variety REGENT, bred by Prof. Alleweldt.
