摘要
International investment is the driving force of the world economy. The investment environment in Serbia is marked by certain development, Serbia has become a country suitable for foreign investors and business partners since the end of the war. In addition to investment cooperation, the business environment is now being developed, where the principles of the market economy apply. In the interest of the development of investment moves, barriers to the inflows of foreign investments into Serbia have been removed. These include the introduction of economic instruments, the provision of subsidies, which may also be interpreted as competitive advantages. The research object of the submitted study is to focus on the FDI flowing to Serbia. We have to reiterate that the most important motives for foreign investors in Serbia is cheap labor, tax holidays and other government financial incentives, which in some cases reach a relatively high percentage of the total investment value. The main objective is to focus on investigation of the FDIs development and their analysis. The methods used are classical method of synthesis, analysis and comparison. Serbia has marked a significant increase in foreign direct investment. We can say that Serbia has also become a sought-after destination for business companies that carry out their business intentions on the territory of Serbia.
