摘要
The impact of UV-B radiation and selenium treatment on common buckwheat was studied in the outdoor experiments. The respiratory potential, plant height and biomass were measured in UV-B and selenium treated buckwheat plants. Plants were exposed to three levels of UV-B radiation; reduced level of UV-B radiation, ambient, and enhanced UV-B radiation, corresponding to a 17% reduction of stratospheric ozone layer. Selenium was applied as a foliar spray of sodium selenate at the time of blossoming. UV-B radiation induced the synthesis of UV absorbing compounds. Se treatment counteracted the stunting effect and lowering of biomass in UV-B treated common buckwheat plants.
