摘要
This paper investigates how institutions quality and trade openness influence economic growth in Sierra Leone. Quantitative research method has been applied to collect and analyze the data of the study. The results of the empirical investigation show positive and statistically significant relationship between institutions quality, trade openness and economic growth. The study also shows that institutions quality has greater influence on economic growth followed by trade openness. It is recommended that policy options be directed to the strengthening of domestic institutions quality such as government effectiveness, control of corruption and regulatory quality so as to enhance growth.
