The simulation model for research of island operation control strategy in HVDC weak sending-end system

摘要
The HVDC project is used to long distance, large capacity transmission; it plays an important role in the interconnected grid in our country. The characteristics of China's energy reverse distribution depends that the weak sending-end system HVDC project is not a special case. If weak sending-end system splits with main grid results the sending system become island operation. And it is a challenge that HVDC project control strategy is obtained for the weak sending-end system. Based on the analysis of the HVDC project, we have studied the modeling of HVDC control system and concluded the weak sending-end island operation HVDC control strategy, and the method of the simulation model was gained. Based on the weak sending-end HVDC system control strategy, the main parameters and boundary conditions of the Hu-Liao HVDC project, Weak sending-end six generators' primary circuit models were obtained with the Power System Simulation Software PSCAD/EMTDC, which could meet the research of DC control strategy for sending system of island operation. On the basis of the Hu-Liao primary model, the three-phase short circuit and the single-phase ground fault were simulated, and the simulation results verified the correctness of the built system model.
