摘要
Beta-alanine supplementation (3.2-6.4 g/d) may elevate skeletal muscle carnosine levels and enhance exercise performance in untrained subjects. Future studies need to examine whether beta-alanine supplementation can increase skeletal muscle carnosine levels and exercise performance in trained athletes, as well as to determine the combined effect of beta-alanine supplementation and training on performance.
