摘要
Microchip laser with generation of laser radiation modulated by millimeter waves comprises: laser pump diode, focusing means, lasing cavity forming means, first and second solid-state laser crystals and nonlinear crystal are arranged in series in lasing cavity. Laser crystals produce laser radiation at two orthogonal polarizations. Nonlinear crystal controls dielectric properties and cavity length of one of orthogonal polarized wave. Electric, magnetic fields or mechanical pressure applied to nonlinear crystal in direction of one of polarizations can be used for control of dielectric properties and wavelength of this polarization. Millimeter wave modulation occurs by mixing of two orthogonal polarized waves of different frequencies in lasing cavity.
