摘要
Adsorption of CO on Rh-ZSM-5 results in the appearance of Rh+(CO)(3) species (2181, 2118 and 2084 cm (-1)) which are converted into Rh+(CO)(2) gem-dicarbonyls (2115 and 2048 cm (-1)) with decreasing CO equilibrium pressure. Evacuation of the sample at elevated temperatures leads to a decrease in intensity of the Rh+(CO)2 bands. However, short evacuations (2-3 s) at high temperatures (673-783 K) and quenching to ambient temperature result in the appearance of a weak band at 2101 cm (-1) which is assigned to linear Rh+-CO species. The reasons for the formation of these species under special conditions are discussed. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
