摘要：

Applied mathematics and pure mathematics are opposites, but the boundary between the two is relatively fuzzy. The connotation, methodology and concept of applied mathematics are also dynamic, so applied mathematics is said to be a kind of developing subject that we should have a deep and better understanding as well as knowledge of it. This paper discusses the application orientation of applied mathematics in informatization on the basis of the relationship between mathematics and informatization, and it also makes an analysis of the important role and significance of applied mathematics in the development of informatization.
