Extinction ratio enhanced 80-Gbit/s wavelength conversion based on optimization of spectrum filtering

摘要
We demonstrate extinction ratio improvement at 80Gbit/s wavelength conversion using a single semiconductor optical amplifier cascaded with a delay interferometer and band pass filters. The output extinction ratio can be improved from 3.2dB to 20dB.
