摘要：

Otoscopic examination under general anaesthesia has been reported to be a mandatory procedure for dogs and cats with otitis for early diagnosis, (Shell, 1988; Beckman et al., 1990; Cole, 2004; Gotthelf, 2004). Angus et al., 2001 reported that video-otoscopy was a practical and effective tool in the diagnosis and management of otitis externa and otitis media and reported that the incomplete examination of tympanic membrane might lead to undiagnosed otitis media. This paper places on record the observations of otoendoscopy in dogs with chronic otitis externa and otitis media.
