摘要
The purpose of this study was to classify the advanced nursing practices as conducted by hospice nurse practitioners and to identify the workload, perceived importance and contribution of the practices. Eleven practices were classified as the advanced nursing practices of hospice nurse practitioners. The workload for the practices of hospice care by hospice nurse practitioners was measured using relative value scale (RVS) and nursing time. The RVS scores for 11 advanced nursing practices had a range of points from 100 to 227.9, with an average of 174.8 points. The workload for "coordination of family conflict" had the highest workload among the 11 advanced nursing practices. The "refractory cancer pain management" had the lowest workload. The perceived importance for "refractory cancer pain management" was high. The highest level of awareness for contribution was "patient satisfaction". It is necessary to clearly define the role of hospice nurse practitioners and identify their related practices.
