Dynamic Comparative Advantage in IT Environment: An Analysis Based on Factor Mobility and Technology Spillovers

Thanks to the deepening of economic globalization and social informatization nowadays, the factor endowments and technology level of one country become evidently dynamic, therefore, the traditional Static Comparative Advantage Theory has failed to explain the ever-changing of the international trade patterns in the world. This paper studies the Dynamic Comparative Advantage Theory in information technology (IT) environment, where the cross-border flowing of factors and international technology spillovers are increasingly frequent. On this basis, it proposes the necessity of constructing "comparative advantage of information" in China, for optimizing its trade structure under IT environment.
