Volumetric properties vapor-liquid equilibria are measured for carbon dioxide + 1-propanol system at 313.15 K with the apparatus equipped with density meters. In the present experiments, the saturated points are indirectly determined by the synthetic method. No analytical instrument is required in the present study. The experimental volumetric and saturated data obtained are correlated with an equation of state. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
