摘要
We propose a technique for the measurement of Stokes parameters of terahertz radiation in terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS). In this technique, a rotatable wire-grid THz polarizer is placed in front of a two-contact photoconductive THz detector. Stokes parameters can be measured by making two temporal scans corresponding to two angles of the polarizer. We theoretically demonstrate that the two angles can be -45 degrees and 45 degrees for achieving the statistically best measurement accuracy in a single test. (C) 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
